This project included feasibility study to extend an existing primary wastewater treatment plant from 400000 m3/day up to 600000 m3/day secondary treatment including sludge digestion and dewatering facilities.
An existing primary treatment of capacity 40000 m3/day was requested to be extended up to the desired capacity (to be determined by the study) with full assessment of the different treatment processes and sludge handling options together with full assessment of the financial requirements for upgrading of the existing facilities as well as the extension units.
Review of master plan for wastewater collection, design of the required extension facilities after selection of the treatment process, boreholes and soil report management as sub consultancy, full detailed priced mechanical and civil B.B.Q. preparation.
