• Team Members Involved in this project: The following departments were involved: Hydraulic & process, structural and Architectural.

This project included process and Hydraulic design review, Arch./structural design of water treatment plant of capacity 68000m3/day in addition to full design of the shore intake, raw water pump station and raw water line of diameter 1000 mm and 4500 lm length.

• Process design review as well as hydraulic calculation verification for Mettito. Preparation of different alternatives for raw water intake and pump station. preliminary report including determination of the plant capacity, surveying of the natural water resources and location of the raw water intake, detailed process and mechanical calculation as well as hydraulic details including design of the raw water pump station, raw water rising main of 4500 m length and 1000mm diam. as well as the full design of the water treatment plant units. 
• Full detailed Architectural and structural design in addition to preparation of detailed B.o.Q for construction purposes. 
• Detailed Hydraulic and structural drawings for the raw water intake. 
• Technical support during construction phase 

Old Mahalla city was suffering from potable water supply problems. The existing old water treatment plant reached to a complete failure stage. Existing units has to be demolished and to be replaced by new facilities of the desired capacity.

Full design activities were carried out including surveying water resources, data collection, preparation of the plant layout and full detailed Hydraulic design, preparation of design report, cost assessments full design documents and specifications. 

Technical assistance during construction as well as attendance of site meetings.
